Albion chairman Tony Bloom has congratulated the Belgian side he owns, Union St Gilloise after they were promoted to the Pro League.
Bloom became the owner of Union in May 2018 and last night they were crowned Champions of the Belgian second division after beating RWD Molenbeek 2-1.
In a post on Twitter earlier today, Bloom congratulated them on the promotion.
He said: “A huge congratulations to everyone at Union for the fabulous achievement of promotion to the top division.
“It is something we have been working really hard for the last three seasons and I am so delighted for everyone and in particular our wonderful fans and I cannot wait to see them at the start of next season in the top division.”

Albion have loaned players to Union in the past.
After Percy Tau signed for the Seagulls in the summer of 2018, he was loaned to the Belgian side and scored 13 goals in 35 appearances.
Young defender Alex Cochrane joined Union on loan in January and has made seven appearances so far this season.
But he has not been involved in recent matches after picking up an ankle injury.
Former Albion defender Sebastian Pocognoli is also at the club.
