Albion and Leicester must cope without major players when they meet at the Amex.
But a man who shone for both clubs reckons they can serve up something very watchable.
The Seagulls take on the Foxes on Saturday (8pm) with decisions to make for both bosses.
Graham Potter must go without Adam Webster and Solly March as well as trying to find a way to bring more goals.
Harvey Barnes, James Justin and James Maddison are key absentees for Leicester, who will be hoping to avoid further problems when they play Burnley this evening.
Former Albion and Leicester midfielder Dean Hammond has seen a lot of both teams this season and will be working among the media at the Amex.
He expects Leicester to be tough opponents, despite injuries and the recent setback of exiting the Europa League.
He said: “They have got a really talented squad and good depth.
“But it looks like Harvey Barnes’ season is over.
“James Maddison has picked up a knock.
“It looks like Jonny Evans will be out for a few weeks now.
“James Justin has been fantastic. One of the finds of the season - but his season is over.
“And there’s Wesley Fofana, who potentially could come back for the Brighton game.
“But this has stopped a bit of the momentum because they were playing so well and were very dominant.
“They are going to be a test for Brighton because their away form in particular has been fantastic.
“I’ve watched a lot of Brighton this season with the media work I’ve been doing.
“The way they play the game is great.
“I thought a couple of weeks ago they had really turned the corner.
“They were keeping clean sheets, had a really consistent team.
“They were still playing the same open, expansive football and taking chances.
“The last couple of results have dented confidence a little bit.
“I think losing to Palace after being so dominant was difficult to take.
“And then at the weekend, with the crazy decision at the free-kick and two penalty misses, losing to West Brom was difficult to take.
“I think it will be a pretty open game.
“They are two footballing teams who like to have possession and attack and try to score goals.
“Brighton haven’t been prolific in front of goal but they create a lot of chances so they are definitely dangerous. Leicester are very similar.
“It’s going to be interesting to see how the dynamics of Leicester change without Harvey Barnes.
“He is such an important player, James Maddison as well.
MODER HAS PLENTY TO LOOK FORWARD TO
“But I don’t think they will change it too much.
“The manager can be flexible in terms of the shape, which helps.
“You’ve got Ayoze Perez, who has been pretty good but I think he might be suffering with a slight injury.
“Ricardo can come in and play.
“Iheanacho is a decent player on his day. He can score goals.
“Under is someone they brought in and he looks an exciting player.
“He looks like a player who wants to commit players, take players on, technically very good.
“But he just hasn’t quite found his form yet and hasn’t had that consistent run in the team.
“There are definitely options for him.”
Jamie has scored on all three visits Leicester have made to the Amex in the Prem, helping them to seven points out of nine.
Hammond said: “He has been such a fantastic player but he has had the hernia operation and it takes time to come back, especially at the top level, to find their form.
“It has all come at an unfortunate time with so many games coming up.”
