Graham Potter says Albion have the quality to start scoring more goals.
The Seagulls wasted some great openings, including two penalties, in their 1-0 defeat at West Brom.
Failure to convert chances is putting their treasured Premier League place in jeopardy, despite some sparkling football.
The Seagulls are three points clear of the drop zone, and still 16th, after Newcastle and Fulham both drew at the weekend.
Asked why he was confident Albion can start hitting the target, head coach Potter told The Argus: “I see the guys every day. I see their quality. I know their quality.
“It’s up to me to help them. It’s up to me to create better chances “It’s the game to put the ball in the net, we know this.

“At this level with the opponent doing everything they can to keep the ball out, it’s incredibly difficult “We have to keep believing in each other.
“I certainly believe in the players. I believe they can score and we have to respond in the next match.”
