Lee Mason will take charge of Albion's game at West Brom.
Simon Hooper will be VAR – as he was for last night’s game against Crystal Palace.
Mason has not refereed Albion in the Premier League since their 0-0 draw at Leicester during last summer’s restart fixtures.
He awarded the Seagulls a penalty early in that game.
The Lancashire-based official was in charge of the eventful FA Cup third-round tie at Newport County.
Mason has reffed 16 fixtures this season and showed his first red card of the campaign on Saturday when he sent off Liam Shaw of Sheffield Wednesday in their defeat by Birmingham City.
