Newcastle are just three points clear of Fulham ahead of their Sunday evening fixture at Manchester United.
Fulham were 11 points behind Albion this time last week but have since taken seven from three games.
Albion will be fully aware of the situation below them.

But, at the same time, a win over Palace would take them above both their opponents and Burnley, who drew 0-0 with ten-man West Brom at Turf Moor.
Southampton are now four points clear of Albion after they drew 1-1 at home to Chelsea.
