Albion have set their sights on Crystal Palace – after a night of frustration at the Amex.
The Seagulls are unbeaten in six Premier League six games after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Aston Villa.
The point means they will move above Palace if they beat them next Monday.
Head coach Graham Potter has welcomed the break in fixtures after the busiest period of the campaign.
He said: “We are enjoying our football but we also know we are still fighting for points and we need to carry on with that.
RYAN SAYS HE HAS MADE MASSIVE STEP UP
BARBER'S MESSAGE TO SOCIAL PLATFORMS OVER ABUSE
“We have had a really intense period from it feels like the middle of December, pretty much.
“It has been two games a week. We have had the FA Cup games.
“The lads have been flat out. We have had a few problems, which everybody has, in terms of injuries.
“I think we are coming out of the back end of that, hopefully.
“Whether you have nine days or three days, you have to make the most of it.
“We will use the time to recover, use the time to give some guys some extra minutes maybe on the pitch that haven’t played so much and then we will be ready for the game.”
