How Albion's players rated at Burnley.
ROBERT SANCHEZ 8/10
Has not usually been this busy but he was a huge presence here and made a variety of saves, using his imposing frame and some agility to preserve a point.
BEN WHITE 8/10
A superb goalmouth block on Ashley Barnes capped a match in which his versatility was put to good use. Was overlapping his wing-back at one point in the first half, had a short period in midfield and then slotted into defence in a back four.
LEWIS DUNK 8/10
Some of the best of both worlds from the skipper. A super header from a corner to put his side in front and then got down to defensive business to preserve some reward.
ADAM WEBSTER 7/10
Good, if not as imperious as in some games of late. Found Vydra quite lively on a testing afternoon which ended in injury.
JOEL VELTMAN 6/10
A steady return from short-lived injury although Burnley started to cause more problems from out wide in the second half. Like a few in blue, better in the first half than the second.
YVES BISSOUMA 6/10
Less influential than usual. Was quite prominent in the first half but less of a factor in the second as Burnley got on top.
PASCAL GROSS 6/10
Good delivery for the goal and some nice touches in the first half but was less of a presence in the second as Albion struggled to enjoy periods of possession.
DAN BURN 6/10
Has first crack at the wing-back role in March’s absence. Needed some help down that side as Burnley attacked with Lowton a threat.
ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER 6/10
Is robust enough to withstand the physical elements of the game, which was just as well on this occasion. But he did not see enough the ball.
AARON CONNOLLY 6/10
Given a start at a venue where he scored the winner last season and you could see why. Allowed Albion to lengthen their game and forced an excellent save from Pope just before the break. Chose the wrong option in a dangerous situation in the second period.
NEAL MAUPAY 6/10
Too feint a touch on a first-half header. Will always work hard to close people down but not much really seen of him as an attacking threat.
SUBS - LEANDRO TROSSARD N/A
A brief glimpse or two of his invention.
DANNY WELBECK N/A
Back from injury as a focal point of the attack. Does a midweek outing at Leicester beckon?
ADAM LALLANA N/A
His introduction helped Albion get on the ball a bit more in the last ten minutes, which in turn eased pressure on the defence.
