Proud boss Graham Potter said “lesser teams would have gone under” at Burnley today.
His side stood strong under pressure to secure a 1-1 draw at rain-lashed Turf Moor.
The draw followed wins over Tottenham and Liverpool within the last seven days.
They remain 15th in the Premier League and are unbeaten in five matches.
Head coach Potter said: “It’s an excellent week. Seven points from nine.
“Two away games, at Liverpool and Burnley.
HOW WE REPORTED THE ACTION AS IT HAPPENED
“You have to respect the opposition, you have to respect the Premier League.
“Two days in between the games to turn around.
FULL-TIME VERDICT FROM TURF MOOR
“It’s an incredible effort by the players.
“I think in the second half Burnley put us under an incredible amount of pressure.
“Lesser teams would have gone under. We didn’t. We got a point and we are delighted.”
