This is how it feels to beat the Premier League champions at their own stadium.
Albion players celebrated after winning at Anfield this evening.
The Seagulls won 1-0 at Liverpool to move TEN points clear of the drop zone and two places up the table to 15th.
Head coach Graham Potter hailed the result and performance as sensational.
The two players brought into the starting line-up combined for the 56th-minute goal.
Dan Burn headed the ball back across goal and Steven Alzate appeared to get the final touch.
Albion thoroughly deserved the points.
Once they had survived an early scare when Mo Salah got in behind, they were rock solid at the back.
And they were neat and enterprising when the chances came to get forward in possession.
There was one sour note to their memorable evening as Solly March suffered a knee injury.
Potter said: “Fantastic result, fantastic performance. It had everything. We showed courage when we had the ball and when we didn’t. We defended with our lives. We limited a good team to not too many chances. We had a few ourselves.
“You have to be disciplined here. Huge credit to the players who worked so hard. I can’t speak highly enough of the character of performance – sensational.”
