Graham Potter recognises Albion might have to sell star performers.

But he says all players are happy at the club – and the price would have to be right before anyone left.

The Argus reported going into January that Albion had no plans whatsoever to sell key players.

That has proved to be the case although fringe players have departed on loan and Glenn Murray has cut ties.

But some stars, led by Yves Bissouma, are attracting attention.

Potter accepts the time might come to let top men go and re-invest at some stage – but not now.

Albion’s head coach said: “We want to keep our good players.

“At the same time, you have to understand that we are where we are in the football pyramid and, in order for us to grow, we have to be brave enough to sell players.

IS THIS MAN ALBION'S BEST PREM SIGNING?

“I don’t think we’ve done that so much.

“I don’t think that’s a bad thing but we know we’re in control of that situation, that’s the most important thing.

ALBION'S PLANS FOR CAICEDO

“I think all of our players are very happy here and we’re delighted to be working with them.

“Nobody is going to leave unless the price is right for us.”
