We asked four long-serving Albion fans the key questions after their side beat Tottenham.
The four are not shy of offering criticism but were suitably upbeat in their replies this time.
One suggested Pascal Gross is "arguably our best Premier League signing".
Another highlighted the presence of Robert Sanchez behind the defence.
See their answer here and whether you agree....
1. What were your thoughts on Albion’s performance?
Colin Beales: Who wouldn’t be happy with that performance? The first half in particular was up there with the Newcastle performance as a best of the season. Pretty much the whole team put in a good performance showing if they do so as a collective they truly can compete with anyone the Premier League throw at us.
Alan Brownings: A solid performance again and this time backed up with a goal. Well pleased with the result, but have to acknowledge we didn’t convert some simple chances.
James Heasman: An excellent performance. Everyone played well, we passed the ball with pace and intensity, pressed higher up the pitch effectively and kept a good defensive shape.
Tim Ayling: Outstanding for the full 90 minutes. Defensively we were really solid, our attacking creativity was excellent, and our midfield is a great mix of grit and ball-retention.
2. Who was your pick of the Albion players?
Colin Beales: It would be between Alexis Mac Allister and Pascal Gross. Alexis now starting to really shine with Bissouma in the middle of the park and getting a run of games in, but I have to give man of the match to Pascal Gross for the tireless energy and for every one of those joyous turns he performed consistently throughout.
Alan Brownings: Mac Allister led and commanded the midfield with a good work rate. The more I see of him the better he looks.
James Heasman: Having criticised him last week, Trossard put in a great performance, as once again did Mac Allister, but my man of the match was Pascal Gross. Arguably our best Premier League signing.
Tim Ayling: Gross, MacAllister and Trossard shone, but it's very difficult to highlight any single player. Great team performance.
3. Can you see them pushing away from the danger zone now?
Colin Beales: I believe we can and will stay up. Hopefully facing Liverpool next doesn’t dent collective confidence of this small run. In my mind win, lose or draw on Wednesday, Burnley is our chance to cement the belief with a potential chance to put another team as well as points between us and the drop zone.
Alan Brownings: Despite my earlier concerns maybe, after Fulham’s result it looked grim but a seven-point cushion going into February provides a degree of comfort.
James Heasman: Still a long way to go, we have to keep looking forwards and hopefully can overtake a few teams.
Tim Ayling: As soon as we get complacent we will be in trouble. However in my opinion there are two big changes for us compared to earlier in the season. The keeper´s presence has made a huge difference at the back, and the understanding MacAllister and Trossard have developed has given us a real cutting edge. Long may it continue
