On-loan Albion striker Viktor Gyokeres made his debut for Coventry last night in their 3-0 defeat to Reading.
The 22-year-old started up top for the Sky Blues after joining them on loan for the rest of the season on Friday.
However, his debut did not go as he would have hoped.
He played 59 minutes, but failed to have a shot.
Gyokeres was then taken off in the 59th minute.
His Albion teammate Leo Ostigard, who is also on loan at Coventry started and played 87 minutes before being substituted.
Coventry boss Mark Robins thought Gyokeres did okay on his debut, but admits there is plenty for him to work on.
He said: “He worked really hard without any real opportunities. There were times when he was running outside the box and outside the width of the penalty area when I want him to stay central.
“Obviously he’s young but he’s willing and wants to work and if he listens and learns he’s got a real chance in the game.
“He’s done OK. But he’s still a bit untidy at times."
