Albion head coach Graham Potter says the situation regarding keeper Maty Ryan has not changed.
The 28-year-old was not involved in the win over Newport in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Fellow goalkeeper Jason Steele then signed a new deal on Monday.
Despite Ryan’s situation having not changed, Potter has praised his attitude.
He told The Argus: “No it hasn’t changed. As I said before we are just going to use Rob and Jason for a period of games.
“We will keep monitoring the situation.
“Maty has been fantastic in terms of how he has gone about his work and his professionalism around the group.
“It is a difficult situation for him, but he has handled it well and we will support all our players and see where it goes.”
