Aaron Connolly’s roller coaster international fortnight has taken another downward turn.
But Graham Potter is hopeful he could face Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Seagulls forward took a heavy fall during his 90 minutes for the Republic of Ireland in Finland yesterday.
He hurt his wrist and suffered some jarring to the neck.
Head coach Potter said: "We are just seeing how he recovers."
Connolly was needlessly pulled out of the Republic’s Euro 2020 qualifier away to Slovakia due to a Covid-related mix-up.

He then sat out the 0-0 draw versus Wales before returning to the squad in time for a 1-0 defeat in Helsinki.
Irish boss Stephen Kenny put him straight into the starting XI.
Potter saw Jayson Molumby, who also started against Finland, this morning.
