Albion have confirmed a double transfer swoop in Poland.
They bring in Polish international midfielder Jakub Moder from Lech Poznan on undisclosed terms.
The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year deal until June 2025 and, subject to international clearance, will be loaned back to Lech.
Meanwhile full-back or midfielder Michal Karbownik is on board from Legia Warsaw on a four-year contract until June 2024, on undisclosed terms.
The 19-year-old – who has been part of the Polish senior squad, but is yet to win his first full cap – will remain with Legia, with a loan agreed for the rest of the season, subject to international clearance.
Both deals were completed last night and announced this morning.
The players returned to the Polish national team set-up in Gdansk last night. They will undergo Covid-19 screening before resuming training today.
