Albion are close to signing one of Poland’s brightest prospects.
They are closing in on Jakub Moder of Lech Poznan.
He would be loaned back to Lech until at least January, by which time they could be out of the Europa League.
A well-placed Albion source has confirmed their interest in the player.
The Argus have been told the fee would be well below the 11 million euros being quoted in Poland.

Midfielder Moder, 21, is highly-regarded in his homeland and made his senior international debut for Poland against Holland recently.
Meanwhile, Michal Karbownik, a 19-year-old defender or midfielder at Legia Warsaw, is also tonight reported to be of interest to Albion.
