Albion fans will NOT have to wear masks when they watch their team on Saturday.
Face coverings will be mandatory in some areas of the Amex as Chelsea visit for a friendly.
But they will not be necessary as supporters watch the action.
The 2,500 present are being placed in socially-distanced seats with ample space between them, even if they are from the same family.
Those attending must declare any Covid-19 symptoms in advance and random temperature checks will be carried out at the game.
Deputy chairman and chief executive Paul Barber said: “There is a whole range of measures we are asking people to comply with, including wearing face masks while they are queueing to get in and while they inside parts of the stadium, such as the concourses.
“Once they are out into the bowl, they will be socially-distanced through the seating plan and they won’t have to wear masks at that point.
“We are taking as many reasonable precautions as we can.”
