Graham Potter says everyone was a winner with Ben White’s loan season at Leeds.
Now he is looking forward to seeing the defender at Lancing in pre-season.
Leeds saw promotion secured yesterday thanks to their West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield beating West Brom.
Potter spoke to the media this morning.
Albion's head coach was asked what he would say to clamour for him to stay at Leeds and replied: "That he is contracted with us and that he is on loan at Leeds."
Asked whether White was part of his plans, Potter said: "Absolutely. He is our player. It is fantastic he has had this year at Leeds.
“I think everybody won. Ben got some great experience, Leeds achieved their goal of promotion.
“We rate him highly. I've followed his career personally from when he was at Peterborough and Newport.
"We like him a lot, he is a really good player and thankfully he is our player.
Asked when White would be at the club's training complex in Lancing, Potter said: "Pre-season,when the rest of the guys report back.
"He is a good player and he will be competing for a place like everybody else."
