Dan Burn could be out for eight weeks after suffering a broken collarbone against Chelsea.
The Albion left-back went off in the first half of a 1-1 draw and was replaced by Bernardo.
He went off in pain after being floored by Reece James.
Head coach Graham Potter said: "He has got a fracture on his clavicle so that is going to be six or eight weeks."
Potter had no complaints about James' challenge.
He added: "I don’t think there was anything sinister.
"It was just a really heavy contact from where I was looking at it.
"Dan has been fantastic but it’s part of football."
