Shane Duffy is due to return to training this week.
The centre-back missed Albion's game against his old club Everton yesterday.
Head coach Graham Potter said Duffy felt discomfort in his calf muscle and Albion opted to play safe.
Leon Balogun was brought on to the bench for only the second time this season in the Premier League.
Potter said of Duffy: “He felt his calf at the start of the week.
“He has just had a big week with two internationals and another (Premier League) game so it was more precautionary than anything.
“He will be training on Tuesday.”
Duffy recently returned earlier than expected from a calf muscle problem sustained in the Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa.
Potter said: “He has done fantastically to get back so quick “We just need to make sure he is okay.”
