Graham Potter praised the spirit of his Albion team after they grabbed a dramatic win.

And he said they might have had a bit of overdue good luck along the way.

The Seagulls came from 2-1 down to beat Everton 3-2 in a dramatic finale.

Head coach Potter said: “I think we have played better and not got anything. The spirit and personality of the players, which we have known has been there, shone through.

“I think it is hard to turn a Premier League game around when you are 2-1 down. We kept going and found a way.

“We maybe had a bit of luck, I don’t know, but you need that to get three points in the Premier League.

“Those who have watched us for ten games would probably say we have earned a little bit of luck.

“I am delighted for the guys - their effort was fantastic.

“We had a sore one last week so to respond and get three points was a good effort.”
