Graham Potter has been installed as early odds-on favourite to be Albion's next manager.
The Swansea boss is 1-4 with the bookies, which suggests an 80 per cent chance that he will take over at the Amex.
He is proving popular with punters as well, accumulating 28 per cent of all bets placed on the next permanent Seagulls boss.
Some bookmakers have Potter as short as 1-8 to take over the job full time.
Elsewhere, Lionesses’ chief Phil Neville is 9-1, followed by Pep Guardiola’s assistant Mikel Arteta at 14-1. Ex-Huddersfield boss David Wagner is also 14-1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: "Graham Potter's first season at Swansea may look underwhelming to an onlooker, but the reality is that he has taken a young squad and got them playing attacking and attractive football.
"Swansea will be desperate to keep hold of him, but then it is clear to see why he would be the first choice of Brighton owner Tony Bloom."
