Albion legend Bobby Zamora believes hopes of causing a Wembley shock against Manchester City rest on Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy.

Zamora says the dependable duo in the centre of defence are key to the Seagulls' chances.

Former goal scorer turned club ambassador Zamora, speaking exclusively to 888sport said: "They are going to need eleven heroes. I’m looking at the two centre-halves who will have to do a fantastic job – Dunky and Duffy.

"Those guys are going to have to be on their game because it’s going to be very tough obviously. Those two can be heroes by shutting City out as best they can.

"Going forward we always look at Glenn Murray with his experience and then on the wing I like Anthony Knockaert who can unlock doors and create a bit of brilliance and win a game.

"Brighton have a few players who can provide an attacking threat and it depends on who Chris goes with but for me it comes down to the two centre-halves."

Zamora reckons tomorrow's FA Cup semi-final will be a release for Albion from their lingering relegation worries after successive defeats against Southampton and Chelsea.

He said: "I was there versus Southampton and it was the game that had they won it would have given them the breathing space to relax in the semi-final and not worry about the league.

"Even so, it will be a bit of release against City because the pressure is off and I always liked to play in those games as the underdog where you're not expected to win. They will be focusing solely on the semi-final and they can cause an upset."
