GLENN MURRAY is hoping he won’t be ruled out by a shoulder injury.
Albion’s top scorer had an X-ray at the Amex while his side were completing their 3-1 win over Crystal Palace and will be checked today.
He told The Argus last night: “I fell and hurt my AC joint. Right now it’s sore but hopefully it will settle down and we will make a decision on Wednesday or Thursday.”
Asked if he feared he faced a lay-off, he replied: “We’ve already had that argument with the physios! They are withholding their judgement so we will see what it’s like when it has cooled down.”
Murray put Albion on course by converting a penalty against his old club. He said: “It’s just about trying to keep calm in that moment and hit the back of the net.
“I felt we started the better of the two teams.
“It was a good performance - and then a professional performance.”
