Andy Naylor and Brian Owen with their verdicts on the 2-1 win at Huddersfield.

MATHEW RYAN 6: Should have done better when Zanka outjumped him to score but it was through a crowd of players and can be forgiven for such a rare blemish. Made a good stop from Australian team-mate Aaron Mooy's first half free-kick.

BRUNO 6: Hard to recall him ever making a mistake as bad as that horror clearance for Huddersfield's goal inside the first minute. Booked and injured as well but redemption with brilliant work to win the corner and take it quickly for the equaliser.

SHANE DUFFY 8: Three for the season now for the Irishman with a header which emphasised his strength in the air at both ends of the pitch. Defended well when he had to.

LEWIS DUNK 7: The uncomfortable start all-round for Albion became comfortable for the England defender with Mounie seeing red and Depoitre more straighforward to defend against than Pritchard, an early second half victim of the hosts' numerical disadvantage.

BERNARDO 7: Followed up his return against Leicester with another decent display, displaying good pace a couple of times in defensive situations. Brazilian is making it hard for Bong to reclaim his spot.

SOLLY MARCH 8: Continued his recent series of assists in style. Was alert to Bruno’s intentions for the equaliser and creative in the second half.

DAVY PROPPER 7: Started to get on the ball once Albion had negotiated the early storm and was tidy.

YVES BISSOUMA 7: Became public enemy No.1 among the Huddersfield fans and reacted to the ceaseless abuse in style. Denied a deserved goal by Lossl's super save.

JOSE IZQUIERDO 6: Some nice combinations with Bernardo in the second half but still room for improvement with end product.

PASCAL GROSS 7: Enjoyed himself on the ball as time and space increased in the second half.

FLORIN ANDONE 8: The moment he has worked and waited for with a super finish to round off a busy display. Almost scored early on.

Subs

LEON BALOGUN: Not totally comfortable at right-back after replacing the injured Bruno.

GLENN MURRAY: A few old pro touches to help see the win through.

BERAM KAYAL: Late replacement for Bissouma.
