Albion will be without record signing Alireza Jahanbakhsh for Saturday's trip to Cardiff.
The Iranian winger went off with hamstring cramp towards the end of the 3-1 defeat at Everton.
Manager Chris Hughton said today: "Jahanbakhsh picked up a very slight strain. We were hopeful he would train this week but he hasn't. He is probably likely to miss out.
"It's a minor injury. We certainly don't expect him to be ruled out for a period."
Jahanbakhsh's absence is likely to prompt a return to the starting line-up for Anthony Knockaert.
Albion also continue to be without second-choice keeper David Button. Hughton said: "David has a slight knee problem."
Long-term casualty Pascal Gross is back in training and scheduled to train again on Monday along with fellow ankle injury victim Davy Propper.
