Barry Lloyd has returned to Albion as chief scout after 14 years in the wilderness.
The full-time role for the Seagulls' ex-manager lightens the load on current chief Dean Wilkins and his assistant Dean White, who was formerly chief scout and reserve team boss.
Lloyd, 58, has not worked in the professional game on a full-time basis since his six-year reign as Albion manager came to an end by mutual consent in December 1993.
He has been scouting for other League clubs part-time and his brief includes improving Albion's scouting network.
What do you think of the appointment?
