Jose Izquierdo has launched his Albion comeback after knee trouble - to the relief of his neighbours.
He had a 45-minute run-out in the under-23s away to Leicester tonight.
It was the left-winger's first match action since playing for Colombia in the World Cup against Japan in Russia more than three months ago.
Izquierdo (below) said: "It's hard when you are not on the field and watching the game outside, because you cannot do anything to help.
"When I was watching the Southampton game and we scored in the last minute, I received some calls from my neighbours because I was making a lot of noise in my flat!"
Boss Chris Hughton said last week it will feel like having a new signing when he can call on Izquierdo again to compete with Anthony Knockaert, Solly March and record buy Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
The lively 26-year-old contributed five goals in 32 Premier League appearances last season following a £13.5 million move from Belgian club Brugge.
Izquierdo played the first half at Holmes Park against Leicester before he was replaced by James Tilley.
The Under-23s are still undefeated after Aaron Connolly's equaliser two minutes into stoppage time rescued a 2-2 draw.
The Republic of Ireland striker fired in after Ben Barclay headed down a free-kick.
Danish right-winger Anders Dreyer put Albion ahead in the 35th minute with a deflected shot.
Leicester levelled six minutes later, Callum Wright heading in Louis Ramsay's right-wing cross.
Albion fell behind in the 51st minute. Another Wright header from Danny Simpson's cross hit a post before rebounding in off the back of diving keeper Hugo Keto.
Albion (4-4-1-1): Keto; A. Davies, White, Barclay, Cochrane; Dreyer (Gwargis 75), Collar (O'Hora 90), J. Davies, Izquierdo (Tilley 46); Gyokeres, Connolly.
Subs; Collings, Moore.
