Martin Montoya was straight into action with Albion today - and straight into contention for Manchester United's visit to the Amex.
The Seagulls' deadline-beating Spanish signing joined his new team-mates for the first time for the annual open training session in front of supporters at the Amex.
Montoya could face United on Sunday (4pm) after fellow former Valencia right-back Bruno suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday's opening defeat at Watford.
Bruno was not involved in the session, nor was Jose Izquierdo (knee).
Florin Andone (groin) was put through his paces by a member of the fitness team with running drills while the squad was split into two for ball work.
Goalkeeper Mathew Ryan was another absentee, not because of any injury issue.
He was engaged in a recovery/gym session as coach Ben Roberts worked with back-up goalkeepers David Button and Jason Steele.
