Albion are closing in on the club record-breaking signing of Iran's World Cup winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
The final touches are being made to the deal which will bring the 24-year-old to the Amex from AZ Alkmaar for around £17 million.
Jahanbakhsh could be officially unveiled by the Seagulls today, subject to a medical, on a five-year contract.
He will become Albion's eighth signing of the summer as they prepare for their second season in the Premier League.
David Button, Jason Steele, Bernardo, Leon Balogun, Yves Bissouma, Florin Andone and loan-bound Percy Tau have already been added to the squad.
