Albion will complete preparations for their second season in the Premier League with a Friday night friendly at the Amex.
The showpiece fixture, against opponents yet to be confirmed, will take place on August 3.
The Premier League campaign gets underway the following weekend.
Albion usually attract high-calibre foreign clubs for their final warm-up.
Last summer it was Atletico Madrid. Previously they have also entertained Lazio and Villarreal.
The match will be played on Friday, rather than over the weekend, to avoid clashing with the Brighton and Hove Pride Festival.
Albion used to request an away start when they were in the Championship - which begins a week earlier than the Premier League - for the same reason.
Irrespective of the opposition, Chris Hughton will be hoping to avoid any injuries so close to the big kick-off.
Beram Kayal broke a leg against Atletico Madrid, which sidelined the Israeli midfielder for two months.
