Chris Hughton believes Albion’s 0-0 draw with ten-man Watford was a case of two points dropped for his team.
The Seagulls twice hit the post against a home side who had left-back Miguel Britos dismissed in the first half.
Watford remain unbeaten while Albion are still seeking their first win and goal back in the top flight.
Hughton said: “At this moment I’d go more towards two dropped.
“Even against 11, I thought we started the game really well.
“Before the sending-off and with how Watford have started, a point here is a good point.
“But I think, with the balance of play and the manner of the game, I’m disappointed we didn’t come away with all three.”
