Albion are closing in on the signing of Norwegian prospect Mathias Normann.
The 21-year-old midfielder is set to join the Seagulls for a six-figure fee from Bodo/Glimt.
Other Norwegian clubs, including Rosenborg, have been interested in Normann.
He joined Glimt in 2013 and was loaned to Alta in League Two two years later.
Normann has represented Norway at under-17 and under-18 level.
He will start off in Albion’s under-23s squad under the guidance of coach Simon Rusk.
Versatile defender Josh Kerr was signed for the under-23s from Celtic earlier in the summer.
Rusk’s youngsters play a friendly at Celtic tomorrow night.
Meanwhile Albion expect their friendly at home to Atletico Madrid on August 6 to sell out.
The club have sold almost 23,000 tickets already and urge fans still hoping to book seats to do so soon.
