Eastbourne Eagles' home meeting against Kent in the Knockout Cup tonight has been called off.
The club have reported a break-in at Arlington Stadium.
A statement on the club website read: “A full assessment has yet to be made but it was immediately clear that some of the air-blowers, which keep the track’s safety barrier inflated, had been damaged and others stolen.”
Martin Dugard, the Eastbourne club chairman, said: "It's a blow. The team are riding really well and wanted to get the job done tonight, having established a valuable lead in the first leg.
"Clearly, in these circumstances we cannot race and an immediate decision was taken to postpone the tie.”
The IT First Eagles won the first leg at Kent's track on Bank Holiday Monday 48-42. A date for re-staging will be announced later.
