Chris Adams will face the county he snubbed after Sussex were paired with Yorkshire in the quarter-finals of the Twenty20 Cup.
But all-rounder Luke Wright, the star of tonight's 73-run win over Hampshire, says the Sharks should fear no one.
Another 7,000 sell-out for the last-eight clash on either July 17 or 18 also guarantees the county a £100,000 cash windfall.
Wright said: "Winning to get the home tie is so important, especially as it will probably be another sell-out.
"It's better than going away from home and getting some abuse from another crowd!"
Wright fell just two runs short of a second century in this season's Twenty20 but he finished the qualifying campaign as the country's top scorer with 298 runs.
He added: "I got a hundred against Kent but this was probably a better, more controlled innings. To start with I felt a bit scratchy but it got better the longer I went on."
Coach Mark Robinson hailed another impressive performance by his side who reeled off their third successive win.
Tickets for the quarter-finals go on sale on the club's website on Sunday and to personal callers during the India game from Sunday. Adult tickets are £20 for seated areas and £15 for general admission. Concessions pay £12.50 and £7.50.
Quarter-finals: Sussex v Yorkshire, Notts v Kent, Warwickshire v Lancashire, Gloucestershire v Worcestershire.
