Albion’s post-promotion slump has cost Chris Hughton a nomination for manager of the month.
The Seagulls boss does not feature in the four-man shortlist for the Sky Bet award for April, revealed today.
But Lee Johnson, whose resurgent Bristol City side secured safety by winning at the Amex, is there.
City lost the first two games of the month, scoring no goals and shipping seven, but have since taken 13 points from a possible 15.
Hughton led Albion to five consecutive wins, starting on April 1, including landmark results at Wolves and QPR, resulting in promotion with three games to spare.
They have since suffered defeats to Norwich and Bristol City.
Johnson is nominated along with Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal, Nigel Clough at Burton and Fulham chief Slavisa Jokanovic.
The winner will be announced tomorrow.
