David Stockdale has given Albion fans an encouraging update on his major injury scare.
But the keeper's run of 50 straight appearances in the Championship will end with the visit to the Amex on Tuesday by one of his former clubs Rotherham United.
Stockdale was helped off with a left shin injury after colliding with team-mate Gaetan Bong in the closing stages of last night's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Lewis Dunk had to go in goal as Albion had used all three substitutes.
Father-of-three Stockdale, pictured with a cuddly toy, told supporters on his Instagram account: "Feeling upbeat this morning after good news from X Ray..... Billy has given me turtle power to to get back.
"Thanks for all the messages and I'll be back quick as possible. Lads and fans fantastic last night. Good clean sheet for Dunky too."
Stockdale played in all 48 Championship matches last season, including the play-offs, and recovered from summer toe surgery to start the new campaign at Derby.
Finnish understudy Niki Maenpaa is finally set to make his league debut for the Seagulls against Rotherham.
