Bobby Zamora is set to miss out on the chance to score against Burnley again.
The 35-year-old striker, struggling with wear and tear, is unlikely to feature in Saturday's clash between first and second in the Championship at the Amex (12.30).
Zamora, who scored in the opening minute in Albion's 1-1 draw at Burnley in November, sat out the wins at home to Reading and away to MK Dons before the international break.
Boss Chris Hughton told The Argus: "We're still hopeful for Saturday but probably he will miss out."
Albion have no new injury concerns. Top scorer Tomer Hemed, Beram Kayal, Gordon Greer, Jamie Murphy, James Wilson, Jiri Skalak and Niki Maenpaa have all reported back from varying degress of game time with their countries.
Scott Arfield is a doubt for Burnley after returning early from international duty with Canada with a back problem.
Murphy's former Scotland under-21 team-mate qualifies for Canada through his Toronto-born father.
