Liam Rosenior is back in training with Albion.
And Gaetan Bong is also closing in on a timely return from long-term injury.
Rosenior has been ruled out since November by knee ligament damage sustained while deputising at left-back for Bong, who suffered a ruptured thigh tendon in October.
Manager Chris Hughton revealed: "Liam Rosenior trained for the first time today, which is a big plus for us, but he's of course been out for a little while.
"We are hopeful that Gaetan will train on Sunday, so there are a few that are getting quite close (to comebacks)."
Bolton's visit on Saturday marks the end of emergency left-back Liam Ridgewell's loan from Portland Timbers.
Hughton will turn to Inigo Calderon to fill the spot until Rosenior is ready to return to first team action.
Sam Baldock (calf) is available for the Bolton game and so is Bobby Zamora, who was substituted at half-time in last Friday's 3-0 home win against Brentford.
The Seagulls will still be without skipper and centre-half Gordon Greer (hamstring). Hughton said: "Gordon will train next week."
