Jack Harper is set to make his long-awaited debut for Albion tonight.
The 'Kid from Madrid' is in the under-21s squad to face leaders West Brom at Tamworth (7pm).
The 19-year-old Scottish international youth forward has been recovering from a knee injury since Albion beat Stoke to his signature in July.
Harper, added to the development squad on a two-year contract, was born in Malaga and spent six years at Real Madrid as a prolific goalscorer in their junior sides.
England under-21s keeper Christian Walton play again tonight after returning from a groin injury which cut short a loan stint with Bury in last week's 4-0 defeat at home to Derby.
Republic of Ireland under-18s midfielder Jayson Molumby has retained his place after impressing against Derby.
West Brom are unbeaten in 12 league games and could go five points clear at the top of the table.
Albion are bottom after losing five of their first six matches.
Albion (from): Walton; Doherty; Hunt, Barnett, Barclay, Dallison, Cadman, Molumby, Ward, Starkey, Harris, Monakana, Tilley, Kandi, Akindayini, Harper.
