Sussex coach Mark Robinson is confident his side can bounce back after they suffered an innings defeat to Warwickshire at Edgbaston today.
The champions were bowled out for 206 before lunch on the third day in their second innings despite 55 from opener Carl Hopkinson and lost by an innings and 34 runs.
Robinson said: "We were outplayed - simple as that - but it's how we bounce back that is important and there is too much honesty and hard work in our dressing room for us not to be able to do that."
Sussex were 182-5 and looked like making Warwickshire bat again at one stage but they lost four wickets for four runs in three overs. Naqeesh Tahir took 4-46 and James Anyon 4-55 and the game was over three minutes before lunch.
Hopkinson top scored with his first half-century of the season and he added 60 with Murray Goodwin (27) while skipper Chris Adams also made 27.
