Crawley Town boss Mark Yates has named seven debutants in his team for the opening day clash with Oxford United.
Freddie Woodman, Simon Walton, Joe McNerney, Lee Barnard, Jon Ashton, Roarie Deacon and Liam Donnelly all start at the Kassam Stadium.
It would have been eight if Belgian defender Bryan van den Bogaert had been considered fit to play at left-back after signing a short-term contract yesterday.
Instead skipper Sonny Bradley is expected to fill in on the left with Bobson Bawling named among the substitutes.
An eighth new signing is also in the team with Luke Rooney - who had a previous loan spell with Reds - favoured ahead of Conor Henderson.
Two further summer signings are on the bench in Callum Preston and Shamir Fenelon with Yates only able to name six of the seven permitted substitutes.
