Millwall Reserves 0, Albion Reserves 2.
Albion's rampant Reserves are still on course for the title.
They kept the pressure on table- topping Southampton with a sixth win in succession at The Den yesterday.
Goals either side of the break by Nathan Elder and Alex Frutos closed the gap on Saints to five points and Albion have two games in hand.
The Seagulls, unchanged after last week's 5-0 win at Aldershot, led from the 39th minute when Elder raised his tally into double figures.
On-loan left-back Zoumana Bakayogo, playing against his parent club, crossed for the former Billericay marksman to head past giant American keeper Ian Joyce, one of three trialists in the Millwall line-up.
The first half was uneventful apart from that, although Elder volleyed over early on and Michel Kuipers preserved Albion's advantage just before the break by parrying a shot from Sammy Mawene.
Frutos, forced off in the first half against Aldershot with a recurrence of a shin injury, doubled the lead in the 53rd minute.
The Frenchman worked an opening inside area to score with a right-foot shot into the bottom corner.
Millwall missed a golden opportunity to reduce the arrears midway through the second half when Tommy Elphick brought down substitute Gary Bowes inside the box. Gary Noel's resulting penalty was comfortably saved by Kuipers.
Southampton play their last match in the Central Division of the Pontin's Holidays Combination at home to rock-bottom Aldershot next Tuesday.
Albion entertain Wycombe Wanderers the following night before concluding their campaign by playing Bournemouth at home and away in the space of three days at the start of next month.
The Central Division winners will then face East Division top dogs Ipswich in a one-off play-off to decide the overall champions.
Albion Reserves (4-1-2-1-2): Kuipers; P. Hinshelwood, Elphick, Cobbs, Bakayogo; Mayo; Hart, Frutos; Ward; Elder, Gatting. Subs: Sullivan, Gargan Pearson, Fogden for Cobbs (65), Wills for Frutos (88).
