Bradford boss David Wetherall has urged fans to stick with the team as they stare relegation in the face.
Caretaker Wetherall has been lifted by the level of support from the stands in the frantic fight to beat the drop.
Now he is appealing for even more of the same in the final four matches as the survival race goes to the wire.
City are still four points adrift of safety, with the odds of pulling off a great escape stacked against them.
But Wetherall maintains it can happen, especially with a helping hand from the supporters.
"They have been fantastic so far since I've been in charge,"
he said. "All I would ask is that they keep up that level of support for the games that are left because it does make a difference.
"They can see that the players are giving it their best shot and people are prepared to forgive a hell of a lot when that's the case.
"We are trying to up the workrate of the team and I'm sure the supporters have appreciated that.
"Brighton is going to be another huge match for us and we all know what is at stake. We know our fans are going to be there getting right behind us.
"It was great to see them at Bournemouth last Saturday and they were certainly in really good voice.
"I'd love to see more of the same against Brighton and hopefully this time we'll be able to reward their support with three points instead of one."
Wetherall is confident that heads will not start to drop, despite Monday's wasteful 1-1 draw at home to Oldham after going in front.
Two of the four games left are against sides they are trying to overhaul - Leyton Orient and Chesterfield - so it is crucial they return to Yorkshire with something from their trip to the south coast.
"When Oldham equalised on Monday, some people might have thought that was it but we don't believe that to be the case," said Wetherall.
"Obviously we were all bitterly disappointed to only draw the match and it was one we really needed to win. For one reason or another we still find ourselves in a very difficult situation.
"But the performance we put in against Oldham should have given people that bit of hope that we are capable of stringing a few wins together. Performances like that do everyone good.
"Of course it won't be easy but as long as staying up remains a possibility, we will continue to give it our best shot."
Wetherall has recalled Ben Muirhead from his loan spell with Rochdale. The winger, who played 12 games for the League Two outfit, is hoping for an immediate chance because of Joe Colbeck's suspension for a red card on Monday.
Wetherall said: "Rochdale will be a little disappointed but that is what happens with loans.
"Joe's sending-off means we are a winger light this weekend and we need Ben back to cover for all eventualities."
