Reading must could field defender Alex Pearce with a broken nose against Albion on Tuesday.
The powerful centre-back played on through injury in today’s 0-0 FA Cup draw at Bradford.
Pearce had to change his blood-splattered kit before he was allowed to continue.
Boss Steve Clarke described him as “a proper centre-half” as the Royals forced a replay back at the Madejski Stadium.
