Crawley are monitoring the availability of QPR defender Coll Donaldson.

Reds boss John Gregory has confirmed the 19-year-old is one of a number of young players he is tracking with a view to bringing them in on loan.

Donaldson joined QPR from Livingston in January for £150,000 and made his debut against Barnsley in the final Championship game of the season.

QPR’s promotion to the Premier League means the 6ft 2in centre-back is unlikely to feature next season with Gregory interested in taking him on a season-long loan.

Gregory said: “He is another youngster we are keeping an eye on. He is not going to play in the Premier League so he is another one who is on our radar.”

Gregory has also said the door is not closed on Dannie Bulman and Mat Sadler who had their contract offers withdrawn on Monday.

However, the Reds boss has warned the duo they have only “two or three days” to contact him if they want to stay at the club.

Gregory added: “Dannie and Mat are having a good look around to see what is available and they are fully within their rights to do that.

“While I’d like them to stay it is my job to look after the interests of Crawley Town so I can’t hang around forever.

“Time is of the essence as I need to continue to look for replacements. If they call me in the next two or three days there might be something we can do otherwise it will be too late.”

Meanwhile, Crawley have confirmed they will play Fulham in a pre-season friendly at the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Saturday July 19. Reds play Albion at home four days later and have also arranged games friendlies at Billingshurst, Eastleigh, Three Bridges and Woking.
