Albion duo Jake Forster-Caskey and Solly March were part of the England squad which had to settle for fourth place at the Toulon Tournament.
Forster-Caskey played 65 minutes of the third place play-off against Portugal today which Gareth Southgate’s under-21s side lost 1-0.
It was an unfortunate defeat, with the Three Lions being caught out at the back after failing to take their own chances at the other end.
Midfielder Forster-Caskey was replaced by striker Will Keane as England went in search of an equaliser. March was an unused substitute.
However, both the Albion players will be pleased with their involvement at the tournament.
