Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey admits he is relishing a more attacking role with England.
Now he hopes to get the chance to cause Brazil a few problems as the under-21s face their most exciting fixture of the Toulon tournament.
Forster-Caskey, above, and club mate Solly March both started England’s opening 3-0 win over Qatar on Thursday.
The former fired a spectacular goal from just inside the box and impressed playing just off the strikers.
He said: “I like playing in the role behind the striker.
“I think it gives me a bit more freedom.
“I have played in a deeper role as well but I enjoy it being closer to the strikers because it means I can shoot and try to get some goals as well.
“It has been easy for me to come in and just train hard, as I knew a few of the boys before and I just want to do my best really.
“There’s Solly March here from Brighton as well, so we’ve come together and it’s been easy really, the other lads have been quality.”
Brazil have already played twice, beating South Korea 2-0 and Colombia 3-1.
Gremio’s bright prospect Luan has impressed in a role similar to that played by Forster-Caskey against Qatar.
Today’s game is being played in St Raphael and kicks off at 6.30pm BST.
