Timo Lahti picked himself up from a heavy fall to lead Eastbourne to a big win tonight.
The Finn dropped just point, and that in heat 15, as Eagles beat under-strength Coventry Bees 61-30 at Arlington.
Lahti took a tumble in the opening race and suffered a painful blow to his right shoulder.
But he then reeled off four impressive wins or paid wins before seeing his full house spoiled by Kenneth Hansen in the nominated race.
Bees made life awkward in the opening races but Eagles piled up seven 5-1s in their commanding win.
Cameron Woodward was unbeaten in his first three rides but saw hopes of a maximum end when his bike broke down the at the start in his fourth race.
Lewis Blackbird had another good night at reserve, dropping his only point to arch rival Stefan Nielsen.
Like Lahti, he was able to continue despite a heavy fall which caused considerable damage to his bike.
Mikkel Michelsen had a paid-second behind Ryan Fisher in his opening ride but was unbeaten from then on.
