Leo Ulloa reckons Albion do not deserve to be behind in their play-off semi-final.
But the striker is convinced they can overturn last night’s 2-1 first-leg defeat and claim a place at Wembley.
Ulloa said: “We didn’t have much luck. We’re 2-1 down and we don’t deserve to be but that’s football.
“There is still 90 minutes to play and we will produce the same football and the same intensity in the second leg.”
Ulloa and Inigo Calderon both backed their head coach’s claims they they were fouled in the Derby box.
Calderon, who went down in a challenge with Craig Forsyth, said: “I didn’t expect that leg to hit me. It was a penalty for sure. He made contact on me.”
Ulloa felt he was held back in the area in the second period.
